About the role
Insight Xcite is seeking a Staff Operations Officer to support mission-critical operational environments within the Intelligence Community. This role involves coordinating operational activities, supporting mission planning and execution, and collaborating across customer and mission support teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, operationally focused, and experienced working within fast-paced, high-security environments supporting national security objectives. Compensation is determined based on experience, technical expertise, certifications, mission requirements, and overall alignment with customer and contract needs.
What you'll do
- Support operational planning, coordination, and mission execution activities
- Collaborate with customer personnel, operational teams, and mission stakeholders
- Prepare operational reports, briefings, and supporting documentation
- Support intelligence integration and operational coordination efforts
- Track operational priorities, requirements, and action items
- Assist with mission support activities across dynamic operational environments
- Maintain awareness of operational objectives and customer priorities
- Support communication and coordination across cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)
- Minimum 6 years of experience supporting operational, intelligence, or mission-focused environments
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or government operations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience preparing reports, briefings, or operational documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting operational planning or mission coordination activities
- Experience working across cross-functional operational teams
- Regional or mission-specific experience supporting Intelligence Community customers
- Foreign language capabilities are a plus
- Experience briefing senior leadership or operational stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
The pay range for this role is:
150,000 - 200,000 USD per year(Government Client Site – McLean VA)
