The environment is collaborative, fast-moving, and highly specialized, with strong exposure to cutting-edge financial technologies. This is an opportunity to shape assurance practices in one of the most innovative and disruptive sectors in global finance.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead day-to-day execution of audit and assurance engagements across blockchain and digital asset clients.
  • Supervise and review the work of junior team members while delegating engagement tasks effectively.
  • Manage audit planning, execution, testing, and completion activities in line with professional standards.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory requirements across complex client structures.
  • Draft financial statements, audit findings, and client-facing reports with clarity and precision.
  • Communicate and resolve audit issues in collaboration with managers and engagement partners.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and trust.
  • Conduct technical research on complex accounting topics including crypto-specific transactions.
  • Support multi-jurisdictional engagements involving US tax, compliance, and cross-border considerations.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff through coaching, feedback, and training support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • CPA designation preferred or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • 3+ years of audit or assurance experience in public accounting or similar environment.
  • Strong interest or passion for blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital asset ecosystems.
  • Experience with audit planning, fieldwork, testing, and preparation of audit documentation.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and audit methodologies.
  • Familiarity with digital assets concepts such as token issuance, DeFi, staking, lending, and crypto accounting is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical research capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client-facing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and audit/financial systems tools.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $90,000 – $105,000 CAD annually (Ontario benchmark; may vary by location and experience).
  • Exposure to high-growth blockchain and digital asset clients across global markets.
  • Comprehensive benefits package supporting health and well-being.
  • Flexible work arrangements and remote work options depending on engagement needs.
  • Strong professional development culture with mentoring and career progression support.
  • CPA support, training programs, and access to continuous learning resources.
  • Collaborative and inclusive work environment focused on innovation and growth.
  • Opportunity to build expertise in one of the fastest-growing sectors in finance.
