TITLE: Sanitation Associate DIVISION: Warehouse-Sanitation
REPORTS TO: Director of Food Safety FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt/hourly
COMPANY OVERVIEW:
C&C Produce has operated the Midwest's Largest Produce Warehouse located in North Kansas City since 1992. We deliver fresh produce to schools, restaurants, grocery stores, distribution centers, and healthcare facilities.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
C&C Produce is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our production facilities, equipment, and grounds. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for food production in compliance with health regulations and company standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facility Cleaning:Clean and sanitize production equipment, surfaces, and utensils according to the company’s sanitation procedures.Ensure that all cleaning and sanitation schedules are adhered to and documented accurately.Perform routine cleaning of floors, walls, and ceilings in production areas.Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in sanitation, janitorial, or food production environment preferred.
SCHEDULES:
- Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
COMPENSATION: Starting at - $15/hour
