Welding and Fabrication Shop Laborer at KC Fab LLC – Grandview, Missouri

Job description:

KC Fab is a growing structural welding and fabrication business that is looking for a shop laborer that can handle the conditions of the job. The daily tasks of the shop laborer are as follows but not limited to:

• Cutting parts for jobs
• Cleaning Shop
• Drill holes in material with Mag Drill
• Drive forklift to move material within shop and parking lot
• Organize and stock Work Trucks
• Prepare next day's job tools and material
• MUST have knowledge of a tape measure and tools

After 90 days of employment you will be given 5 sick days and 5 vacation days. Half employee insurance rates will also be paid after 90 days of employment.

Pay is $15.00-$20.00 per hour with room for advancement.

• Grandview, MO 64030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Can accurately read a tape measure is a MUST!
• Willingness to learn new things/Trainable is a MUST!
• Can safely and efficiently operate a sit-down forklift to move steel.
• Cut steel to specific lengths as specified in blueprints using a band saw.
