About The Role

Join Our Seasonal Facilities Team in Brooklyn!

We're looking for Seasonal Facilities Associates to join our Facilities team during our peak season and help keep our Brooklyn headquarters clean, safe, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on role in a multi-floor building. You'll work across all three floors, from warehouse floors and aisles to restrooms, break areas, and office spaces. Your work will keep things moving for every team in the building, and during our busiest time of year, that matters a lot.

We're offering a competitive $22/hour rate for this fully onsite at our headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, which you can reach by the N/R trains and the B9, B11, and B37 buses.

What You'll Do

  • Clean and maintain warehouse floors, aisles, restrooms, break areas, and office spaces.
  • Handle daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Collect and dispose of waste materials and recyclables from work areas, including operating a bailer when needed.
  • Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment as needed.
  • Keep restrooms and break rooms fully stocked with supplies.
  • Help maintain a safe workplace by clearing debris and keeping materials organized.
  • Take care of minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or unclogging drains.
  • Report any damage, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Shift Details

  • Shifts vary week to week and range from 26 to 32 hours per week.
  • Weekend availability (Saturdays and/or Sundays) is a must, as well as evenings when necessary.
  • This is a seasonal position.

About You

  • You take pride in your work. You believe a clean, well-kept space makes a real difference for the people who work in it.
  • You're flexible. You can switch tasks or floors when needed without missing a beat.
  • You work with a sense of urgency and take initiative. When you see something that needs doing, you do it.
  • You communicate well and treat every teammate with respect and professionalism.
  • You're ready for a physically demanding role that involves constant movement, lifting, walking, and standing throughout your shift.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a custodial, janitorial, or cleaning role preferred, especially in large facilities such as hospitals or schools.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other machinery.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience operating a bailer is a plus.
  • Plumbing or general maintenance experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Competitive hourly wage $22 an hour
  • A fun, casual work atmosphere where creativity is celebrated.
  • A generous 40% discount on our products — treat yourself!
