This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Enterprise Business Development - APJ based in United States.
As a Manager, Enterprise Business Development, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for generating qualified enterprise pipeline across the APJ market.
You will recruit, onboard, coach, and develop BDRs while establishing scalable strategies that improve prospecting and opportunity creation.
The role combines hands-on sales leadership, funnel management, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Sales, and Product.
You will help shape messaging, account coverage, qualification processes, and handoffs to maximize top-of-funnel conversion.
Success will require strong commercial judgment, analytical rigor, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving technology environment.
You will also play a key role in forecasting performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and building repeatable processes for growth.

- Team leadership and growth: Continue building the BDR organization by partnering with recruiting to identify, hire, onboard, and retain high-quality talent.
- Coaching and development: Provide hands-on coaching through recurring one-on-ones, feedback, enablement, and development initiatives to continuously improve individual and team performance.
- Outbound strategy: Develop and refine outbound prospecting strategies that improve qualification, opportunity creation, productivity, and pipeline generation across target enterprise accounts.
- Funnel management: Manage business development funnels across multiple channels, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve conversion throughout the prospecting journey.
- Performance management: Establish, track, and analyze KPIs and team performance metrics, using data to increase productivity and consistently progress toward pipeline targets.
- Forecasting: Accurately forecast weekly, monthly, and quarterly attainment while providing clear visibility into pipeline performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Marketing collaboration: Work closely with Demand Generation teams to provide feedback on MQL quality, campaigns, messaging, and lead-generation effectiveness.
- Sales alignment: Partner with Sales leadership to improve outbound strategies, qualification standards, account coverage, target personas, opportunity quality, and BDR-to-AE handoffs.
- Cross-functional messaging: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to develop compelling messaging and engagement strategies for target enterprise accounts.
- Enablement: Build effective onboarding and ongoing learning programs that strengthen BDR capabilities in prospecting, qualification, communication, and opportunity creation.
- Process improvement: Identify operational challenges and develop creative, scalable solutions that enhance team efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency.
- Organizational leadership: Foster a collaborative, motivated, and accountable environment focused on continuous improvement and measurable business outcomes.
- Leadership experience: At least 2 years of experience managing a team of BDRs, ideally within cybersecurity, DevSecOps, infrastructure, or open-source software environments.
- Funnel expertise: Demonstrated experience managing sales funnels across multiple channels and customer segments, with a strong understanding of pipeline generation and conversion.
- Enablement skills: Hands-on experience onboarding, training, coaching, and developing sales or business development professionals.
- Technology proficiency: Experience working with CRM platforms, lead-generation and sales technology, and AI-powered tools to improve sales productivity and effectiveness.
- Analytical capabilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Recruitment experience: Proven ability to identify, recruit, hire, onboard, and develop high-performing team members.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to translate business objectives into practical BDR strategies, processes, KPIs, and execution plans.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities can shift and new challenges require decisive action.
- Problem solving: Demonstrated ability to identify obstacles, uncover root causes, and implement creative solutions that improve team performance and efficiency.
- Location: Must be located within the APJ region.
