The Brand Marketing Associate Director will be responsible for driving strategic marketing initiatives, supporting commercial expansion, and ensuring effective execution across multiple channels and stakeholder groups.
- Develop and execute product marketing strategies, including disease education initiatives, messaging frameworks, promotional materials, and educational programs.
- Lead patient strategy development and collaborate with agency partners to deliver integrated omnichannel marketing programs.
- Build market access strategies, value propositions, and supporting materials in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Create and implement tactical plans across digital channels, healthcare networks, hospitals, and integrated delivery organizations to increase awareness and engagement.
- Partner with sales training teams to develop product-focused education and enablement resources.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to create performance dashboards, presentations, and measurement tools that track campaign effectiveness and business impact.
- Support promotional review processes by coordinating with medical, legal, and regulatory teams to ensure compliant marketing execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, agencies, and external vendors.
- Manage marketing budgets, monitor spending, and optimize investments to support business objectives.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives that advance commercial goals.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare marketing, along with strong strategic, analytical, and leadership capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of commercial and/or marketing experience, including at least 4 years within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proven experience launching or managing specialty, oncology, rare disease, or biotech products.
- Strong track record developing marketing strategies and successfully executing integrated promotional plans.
- Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and promotional budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex commercial challenges and present strategic recommendations.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing, customer engagement strategies, and performance measurement.
- Knowledge of U.S. healthcare reimbursement, distribution channels, and selling environments is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills within matrixed organizations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel more than 30% of the time.
- Competitive annual base salary range of approximately $170,000 to $187,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
