About This Role

The Director, HR Operations is a strategic and hands on role focused on the entire employee lifecycle inclusive of supporting vendors, contractors and s a strategic and operational leader responsible for enterprise-wide sourcing, contracting, and supplier management across Geronimo Power’s development, construction, and operations portfolio.

This role drives value creation through disciplined procurement strategies, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and strong supplier partnerships—ensuring on-time project delivery and alignment with company growth objectives in renewable energy and powered infrastructure development.


Responsibilities

Total Rewards & Compensation

  • Supportexecution of the company’s total rewards strategy, including base pay, incentives, and benefits
  • Manage compensation benchmarking and participate in external compensation surveys; analyze data to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
  • Partner with leadership on compensation structure

HR Operations & Annual Processes

  • Oversee the planning and execution of annual HR cycles, including:
  • Merit and bonus planning
  • Promotion processes
  • Open enrollment
  • HR compliance audits and reporting
  • Ensure processes are well-governed, scalable, and aligned with business priorities
  • Maintain documentation, controls, and audit readiness across HR processes

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage and optimize relationships with key external HR vendors, including:
  • Leave of Absence (LOA) and ADA administration providers
  • Payroll providers
  • Insurance brokers
  • HRIS and HR technology partners
  • Establish service expectations, track performance, and ensure compliance with SLAs and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, cost efficiency, and employee experience

HR Systems & Process Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and workflows
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance HRIS utilization and reporting capabilities
  • Lead or support HR technology implementations and optimizations
  • Simplify and standardize processes to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability

Team Leadership

  • Manage and developdirect reports and team members
  • Provide coaching, prioritization, and oversight to ensure high-quality execution of deliverables
  • Foster a high-performance, accountable, and service-oriented team environment

What You’ll Bring

Experience & Education

  • 7years of progressive HR experience, with strong focus on total rewards and HR operations. Benefits administration is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR vendors and complex external partnerships
  • Deep knowledge of compensation practices, benchmarking, and HR annual cycles
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and payroll providers
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range for the posted level: $150,000 - $185,000 plus target annual bonus opportunity of 35%. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and demonstrated market-relevant expertise
