Payroll Specialist in Greater St. Louis, Missouri at EBS Recruiters LLC

Our client is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll while providing exceptional support to employees and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule for employees
• Review payroll data for accuracy, including hours worked, earnings, deductions, and taxes
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
• Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assist with payroll tax reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processing
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Partner with HR and Accounting to support employee changes and payroll reporting
• Assist with payroll process improvements and other accounting or HR projects as needed

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of payroll processing experience
• Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices
• Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
