Role | Pay |

Lead Teacher | $20–$25/hr |
Assistant Teacher | $19–$24/hr |
Based on credentials and experience
What you'll do every day
- Design and deliver creative, age-appropriate curriculum for K–5
- Champion the physical, emotional, and developmental growth of each child
- Keep the classroom safe, energetic, and genuinely fun
- Build real relationships with kids, families, and fellow teachers
- Lead by example — model the warmth and curiosity you want to see
What you bring
Minimum qualification: MSDE 90-hour School-Age Certification, or a CDA with School-Age Endorsement. Ideal candidates also have 1–3 years of relevant experience plus:
- Strong understanding of child development and instructional strategies
- Knowledge of MSDE regulations
- A warm, friendly, and cool-tempered presence
- Solid communication skills — verbal and written
- Rock-solid reliability and punctuality
- Highly organized, able to juggle priorities and multitask
- A true team player who genuinely enjoys working with others
About the campus
Bells Mill/Potomac - Nestled in a quiet neighborhood between Cabin John Middle and Bells Mill Elementary Schools.
Darnestown/Gaithersburg - Situated in the heart of Darnestown, next to Darnestown Elementary School, close to Jones Lane
