Language Arts Resource Teacher (Part-Time)

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Language Arts Resource Teacher to support student growth and foster a love of reading and writing.

Position Summary

The Language Arts Resource Teacher will provide high-quality instruction to students in Grades 2 and 4, helping them develop strong literacy, reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and enthusiastic about working with elementary-aged children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Language Arts to students in Grades 2 and 4.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Administer assessments and prepare report cards.
  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support student success.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Follow all school policies, procedures, and staff handbook requirements.
  • Ensure the responsible use and care of instructional materials and classroom resources.
QualificationsRequired
  • Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively teach Language Arts concepts to elementary students.
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to student growth.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children.
  • Graduates of U.S. educational institutions.
  • Proficiency with educational technology and online learning resources.
  • Experience creating educational content, presentations, or short instructional videos.
