Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Centennial, Colorado facility.
Role Overview
The Master Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and driving execution of the company's integrated engine build plan. This role serves as the central planning function that aligns customer demand, production capacity, material availability, engineering changes, and business priorities into a single executable manufacturing plan.
Working cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Finance, Program Management, Sales, and Executive Leadership, the Master Planner leads the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and ensures alignment between strategic business objectives and factory execution.
Success in this role requires exceptional analytical skills, systems thinking, strong communication, and the ability to make informed tradeoffs in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Master Production Planning
- Own creation, maintenance, and execution of the master engine build plan.
- Develop and maintain rolling production plans that balance customer demand, against manufacturing capacity.
- Translate sales forecasts and customer commitments into executable production plans.
- Continuously evaluate production priorities and adjust schedules to respond to changing business conditions.
- Ensure alignment between long-term planning horizons and short-term production execution.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Lead the company's monthly S&OP process.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning meetings involving Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and Executive Leadership.
- Consolidate demand, supply, capacity, and inventory assumptions into a single operating plan.
- Identify planning gaps, risks, and opportunities while driving timely decision-making.
- Prepare executive-level planning dashboards and recommendations.
- Maintain accountability for action items and follow-through resulting from S&OP decisions.
You have...
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or production planning, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
- Strong knowledge of development processes and product lifecycle stages.
- Experience leading or facilitating S&OP or integrated business planning processes.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens eligible for a security clearance.
Nice to have...
- Experience with hardware or aerospace manufacturing and assembly.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or APICS/CPIM certification.
- Understanding of ISO/AS9100 quality standards.
- Understanding of MRP principles, lead time management, safety stock calculation, supply chain KPIs and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau is a plus).
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and engineering change order
- APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
- CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
- Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $90,000-$$118,000 base salary. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
