THE DEPARTMENT
The Human Resources team strives to create a work environment where associates are enthusiastic about their jobs. HR is responsible for the implementation and execution of human resource functions and programs including compensation, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, benefit administration, employment regulations and compliance, recruiting, analysis and delivery of benefits, reception, and facilities maintenance.
THE POSITIONThis role supports the HR function by delivering accurate and timely HR analytics, maintaining employee data, and providing operational support to the HR team. The position plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making while ensuring smooth execution of core HR processes. The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for the following results:
- Pull, analyze, and compile HR metrics including:
- Turnover
- Leave of absence data
- Cost to fill / time to fill
- Ownership monthly and quarterly HR dashboards and pulse reports
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of all HRMS data, including:
- Employee changes (hires, terminations, transfers, promotions)
- Reporting structures and job data
- Partner with HRBPs to prepare data insights for business reviews
- Identify trends and provide insights to support workforce planning and decision-making
- Conduct anniversary check-ins, analyzing and sharing the data for trends, and recommending changes
- Serve as back-up support to HR Business Partner as needed
- Support audits and compliance reporting requirements
- Assist with process improvement and documentation of HR workflows
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
- Other Human Resource projects as assigned
EDUCATION
The preferred candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field; or three to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. aPHR, PHR or equivalent HR certification is preferred.
EXPERIENCE PREFERREDThe preferred candidate has noteworthy experience in the following areas:
- 2–5+ years of HR, HR operations, or HR analytics experience
- Strong Excel and data reporting skills (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards)
- Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Manager)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
