What You'll Do
As the Nursing Director, you'll oversee the daily clinical operations of the surgery center, ensuring safe, efficient patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and supporting staff development.

Responsibilities
  • Direct day-to-day nursing and clinical operations to meet procedural and patient care needs.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency.
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, competency validation, and ongoing staff education.
  • Promote a collaborative, patient-focused culture and positive employee engagement.
  • Lead quality assurance, QAPI initiatives, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
  • Oversee compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Life Safety, Infection Prevention, and Radiation Safety programs, including required training, monitoring, documentation, and drills.
  • Ensure completion of required reports, audits, and regulatory documentation.
  • Participate in required meetings, continuing education, and other leadership responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Experience supervising or leading clinical staff required.
  • Working knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, and regulatory compliance standards required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Certification as an Infection Preventionist preferred.
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), surgical services, or procedural care leadership experience preferred.
