The Customer Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing customer marketing programs that increase engagement, advocacy, and demand while strengthening relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Identify, develop, and manage customer stories, including case studies, testimonials, videos, and customer quotes.
- Partner with customer success and sales teams to identify advocates and capture authentic customer experiences and insights.
- Manage customer reference programs and maintain an organized library of customer success materials and proof points.
- Create customer-focused marketing campaigns across email, web, social media, webinars, events, and other channels.
- Support customer lifecycle initiatives, including onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion campaigns.
- Collaborate with content, creative, product marketing, and external partners to produce engaging customer assets.
- Coordinate project timelines, campaign deliverables, stakeholders, and resources to ensure successful launches.
- Analyze campaign performance, customer engagement data, and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Align customer stories and advocacy initiatives with broader product messaging and marketing goals.
- Build and nurture a customer community that encourages engagement, connection, and long-term loyalty.
- Recruit customer advocates through multiple channels, including events and collaboration with sales and customer success teams.
- Support additional marketing initiatives and special projects as needed.
The ideal candidate is a customer-focused marketer with strong communication skills, project management experience, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-3 years of marketing experience with knowledge of multiple marketing channels and campaign strategies.
- Experience creating customer-focused content, storytelling assets, testimonials, or advocacy programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and presentations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong project management abilities, including managing timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer data and campaign performance insights.
- Experience working within integrated marketing teams or matrixed organizations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Experience in education, e-learning, or working with educators and administrators is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Competitive annual salary range of $68,000 - $93,500 USD.
