We're looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our growing Services team and help design, install, maintain, and improve irrigation systems across commercial, residential, and municipal properties.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants the opportunity to help grow an irrigation division while mentoring others along the way.
What You'll DoInstallation & Service
- Install new irrigation systems and maintain existing systems
- Complete spring startups, winterizations, and seasonal service work
- Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation issues, working with suppliers to find solutions
- Read and interpret plans to ensure installations meet design specifications
- Develop and maintain shop drawings and as-built drawings
Operations & Leadership
- Help develop and improve irrigation installation and service processes
- Support and provide guidance to team members in the field
- Assist with scheduling, planning, and coordinating irrigation projects
- Support Construction, Maintenance, and Snow & Ice teams as required
Safety & Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships
- Complete FLRAs, inspections, toolbox talks, and safety documentation
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Identify and report safety concerns while promoting a safe work environment
- 5–7 years of experience installing and maintaining commercial and residential irrigation systems
- 2+ years of leadership or management experience
- Strong knowledge of irrigation design, installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and system maintenance
- Experience with irrigation controllers, low-voltage systems, PVC and poly pipe installation
- Ability to read plans, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Experience operating equipment such as trenchers, excavators, skid steers, and power tools is an asset
- Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract (HTE is an asset)
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
IIABC certifications including Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT), Certified Irrigation Scheduler (CIS), and Certified Irrigation Designer (CID), or equivalent certifications, are considered strong assets.
Compensation & Benefits- $32–$38/hour based on experience
- Discretionary bonus based on company performance and goal completion
- 4% vacation pay paid on every cheque
- 5 paid sick days

- Company vehicle or kilometre reimbursement, depending on the role
- Company tech package including laptop, cell phone and/or iPad as required
- Optional snow and ice shifts available during the winter season
This role is primarily outdoors, working on active job sites in a variety of weather conditions. You'll also spend occasional time in the office planning projects, coordinating with vendors, and supporting operational improvements.
Regular hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities. Winter snow and ice shifts are available for those looking for additional seasonal work.
