This role offers the opportunity to lead and grow a high-performing sales organization across the Western United States.
You will manage, coach, and develop a geographically distributed team of Account Managers while taking ownership of regional revenue growth.
The position combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on coaching, customer engagement, and performance management.
You will build market expansion strategies, strengthen key customer relationships, and identify opportunities to increase profitable business.
Working closely with recruiting, operations, and executive leadership, you will ensure strong alignment between sales execution and customer delivery.

Extensive travel throughout the Western United States will be expected as you support teams, visit customers, and develop regional opportunities.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a geographically distributed team of Account Managers across the Western United States.
- Drive profitable regional sales growth while establishing clear expectations around activity, performance, pipeline development, and revenue targets.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high-performing sales professionals as the regional organization expands.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, ride-alongs, customer visits, pipeline reviews, and performance evaluations to strengthen individual and team performance.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on entering new markets, expanding existing accounts, and increasing customer value.
- Partner closely with recruiting and operations teams to ensure sales commitments translate into high-quality service and successful customer delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline information, CRM records, and regional performance reporting.
- Analyze sales metrics and trends to identify performance gaps, develop corrective action plans, and continuously improve sales results.
- Support key customer presentations, contract negotiations, strategic account development, and other high-value business opportunities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to execute long-term regional growth strategies and translate organizational objectives into actionable sales plans.
- Foster a culture built around accountability, collaboration, integrity, ethical behavior, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with internal teams, customers, and external site stakeholders.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams, preferably within the skilled trades, construction, or staffing industry.
- Proven experience recruiting, hiring, onboarding, developing, and retaining successful sales professionals.
- Strong understanding of staffing sales, business development, customer relationship management, sales pipelines, forecasting, and revenue growth.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate remote sales teams operating across multiple geographic markets.
- Track record of achieving sales objectives and using performance data to identify opportunities and improve results.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple regional priorities.
- Ability to develop strategic sales plans, analyze performance metrics, and translate insights into practical action.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; exceptional candidates with significant relevant staffing-industry leadership experience may be considered without a degree.
- Highly ethical, collaborative, and team-oriented approach with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must reside within the Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Western United States.
- A valid driver's license is required for the travel and customer-facing nature of the position.
- Base salary of $100,000–$125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
