Job Description

Product Marketing Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Marketing Manager based in the United States.

This is a high-impact opportunity to build and own the product marketing function within a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment.
You’ll serve as the connective tissue between product, customer success, sales, and marketing, ensuring product value is clearly understood across the business.
As the first dedicated Product Marketing Manager, you’ll establish scalable processes for launches, customer education, sales enablement, and product advocacy.
You’ll translate complex product capabilities into compelling business value for finance and sales audiences in the CPG industry.
You’ll also use customer insights and performance data to drive feature adoption, expansion revenue, and stronger product positioning.
The role offers significant autonomy, visibility, and the chance to shape how a SaaS product moves upmarket into mid-market and enterprise accounts.
It’s an ideal fit for a data-driven, collaborative marketer who enjoys building from the ground up and turning strategy into measurable results.

Accountabilities
  • Own product launch communications: Partner with Customer Success, Product, Sales, and Marketing to develop and manage a scalable framework for communicating new releases, from early awareness through post-launch adoption.
  • Drive customer education: Work with Customer Success teams to clearly communicate what is changing, why it matters, and how customers can get value from new capabilities.
  • Lead sales enablement: Create talk tracks, one-pagers, battle cards, competitive positioning, and other resources that help sales and SDR teams confidently communicate product value, particularly as the business expands into mid-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Translate product capabilities into business value: Turn complex product specifications into clear, compelling narratives tailored to finance, sales, and other key buyer personas.
  • Measure product adoption and revenue impact: Establish goals and track feature adoption, customer engagement, upsell opportunities, and revenue impact associated with product releases.
  • Partner on expansion initiatives: Collaborate with Customer Success and Revenue Operations to identify opportunities created by new functionality and develop campaigns and materials to activate those opportunities.
  • Build a product advocacy program: Develop a structured and repeatable customer advocacy initiative that engages power users and customer advisors.
  • Develop the voice of the customer: Capture customer feedback, validate positioning and messaging, and generate case study opportunities that can inform product strategy and market positioning.
  • Create scalable processes: Establish repeatable product marketing frameworks and workflows that improve coordination across teams and support continued growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4–7 years of product marketing experience, ideally within B2B SaaS and with exposure to CPG, retail, or trade promotion management.
  • Startup background: Demonstrated experience working in a startup or lean environment where you have worn multiple hats and built processes from the ground up.
  • Go-to-market expertise: Proven ability to own product launches end-to-end, including cross-functional coordination, execution, communication, and post-launch follow-through.
  • Messaging skills: Strong ability to translate complex product functionality into clear, compelling, outcome-oriented messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Commercial mindset: Experience connecting product marketing initiatives to customer adoption, engagement, revenue growth, and upsell opportunities.
  • Analytical approach: Comfortable setting goals, tracking performance metrics, interpreting results, and using insights to continuously improve programs.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and influence across Product, Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Marketing without relying on formal authority.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating shifting priorities, ambiguity, and a high-growth environment where autonomy and initiative are expected.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive content and align diverse stakeholders around a common message.
Benefits
  • Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, education, certifications, and scope of responsibilities.
  • Remote-first work: Fully remote flexibility designed to support productive and sustainable work.
  • Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% of employee monthly premiums covered and 50% of dependent premiums covered.
  • 401(k): Retirement plan with a 3% employer contribution.
  • Flexible PTO: Flexible paid time off designed to support balance, creativity, and well-being.
  • Additional days off: Most U.S. holidays falling on a Monday or Friday are converted into four-day weekends.
  • Remote work support: $200 monthly remote work stipend plus a home-office stipend upon hire.
  • Wellness: $50 monthly wellness reimbursement.
  • Meal benefit: $20 weekly meal stipend, with associated charitable contributions through Feeding America.
  • Growth opportunity: Significant ownership and visibility as the first dedicated product marketing hire, with the opportunity to build a function from the ground up.
  • Collaborative environment: A culture centered on empathy, transparency, customer focus, accountability, urgency, and teamwork.
