Our agency is looking for a full-time Patient Care Assistant to work day shift. Our day shift PCAs work 7:00am – 7:30pm and work rotating holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect data that contributes to the assessment and evaluation of individualized care and needs of assigned patients.
  • Provide direct care (taking vital signs, transporting to other departments) to patients according to Meridian policy and procedures.
  • Perform clerical duties such as answering phones and order entry as needed.
  • Prioritize and execute assigned tasks in a timely efficient manner.
  • Help maintain department operations by stocking, handling linens, cleaning equipment and transporting patients.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients, and other staff members.
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Knowledge of chemical dependency preferred
