Our agency is looking for a part-time Patient Care Assistant to work varying shifts. Our Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) also work on a weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor common facilities regularly for the safety and welfare of our residents.
  • Transportation of residents to appointments, meetings and field trips will be required as needed, with use of a company vehicle.
  • Light clerical duties.
  • Prioritize and execute assigned tasks in a timely efficient manner.
  • Observes video surveillance monitors regularly and reports unusual incidents.
  • Assists residents as needed in all activities of daily living, including cooking, cleaning, grooming, laundry, etc.
  • Assists the residents in the development of interpersonal and coping skills, including adapting to home and its’ rules and structure.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients, and other staff members.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required.
  • Knowledge of Chemical Dependency preferred.
