The Opportunity: CNC Machinist
Your Role: The CNC Machinist is responsible for the setup and operation of a variety of CNC machines, including horizontal and vertical mills. You will set up, operate, and manufacture products according to blueprint specifications and customer requirements. Responsibilities Included
- Perform dimensional inspections on both in-process and finished machined parts and products using measurement techniques and equipment.
- Inspect weldments and fabricated products
- Inspect the finished product (painting and powder coat)
- Inspect assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Use experience with common metrology tools including calipers, and micrometers to measure parts.
- CMM programming as needed.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum education level of High School, GED, or its equivalent
- 3+ years experience in a machine shop environment
- 3+ years experience working with mill machines
- Associates in Precision Machining
- Experience with multi-axis CNC milling with FANUC controls, MAZAK, or similar
- Experience in horizontal mill machines

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00 per hour.
The wage range for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational requirements.
