Summary

As a Market Line Cook, you’ll craft high-quality menu items for Union City Market and Hook & Fork. If you love fresh ingredients, unique kitchens, and a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

• Cook and prep menu items with consistency and care.
• Meet food quality and presentation standards.
• Keep prep and kitchen areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate with the team to support smooth operations.
• Follow health, safety, and resort-wide culinary standards.

Qualifications

• Required | 3+ years’ line cook experience
• Desirable | 1+ years' experience in a non-traditional cooking setting
• Flexible work availability including weekends required
• WA Food Worker Card required within 14 days after hire
• WA Class 12/13 Alcohol Server Permit (MAST) required within 60 days after hire
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Equivalent education, skills, and/or experience necessary to perform the essential functions may be considered

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Physical Demands. This role requires regular standing, walking, talking, hearing, and hand dexterity. You may need to climb stairs, bend, twist, kneel, push, pull, and occasionally lift up to 100lbs (frequently up to 40lbs). Visual focus and mental concentration are often needed.
• Work Environment. Work takes place in a covered, semi-outdoor kitchen with exposure to heat, cold, and changing weather. The environment includes moderate noise, occasional chemical use, and cooking over an open flame—safety precautions are essential.
