Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our metal fabrication team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake equipment to accurately bend and form metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to producing high-quality work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards
• Install and adjust tooling, including dies and punches
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and fabrication best practices
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
Required Qualifications
• 2-3 years of press brake experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints and understand measurements and tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
• CNC press brake experience or certification
• Experience working with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
Work Environment
• Manufacturing / metal fabrication setting
• Team-oriented environment with a focus on safety and quality
