We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to support precision cutting operations. This role is responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing environment, can read technical drawings, and is committed to accuracy, safety, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut metal components to exact specifications
Load raw materials (sheet metal, plates) and monitor cutting operations
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and cut files to ensure accuracy
Perform basic machine adjustments and monitor cutting parameters (speed, power, alignment)
Inspect finished parts for quality, ensuring proper dimensions and clean cuts
Remove finished parts, sort materials, and prepare items for the next stage of production
Perform routine machine maintenance and report any mechanical issues
Maintain accurate production records and follow all safety procedures
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards

Qualifications
Previous experience operating laser cutting equipment or CNC machinery preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, rulers, gauges)
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
High school diploma or GED
