Job Description

The Training and Development Coordinator assists the Clinical Manager with prospecting new business, marketing, training coordination and implementation. Keeps abrest of the field, Servicing of accounts, client cases, DSS mental health evaluations, CISM and bereavement support. In addition this role also completes Counselor duties including but not limited to: Receiving client calls, scheduling appointments, assessing problems, counseling clients, assists with arrangements for referrals, records case notes, case management, maintains community resource directory, trains and orients, performs other program functions as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Required: Masters degree in appropriate mental health or behavioral science. 1 year of related experience required.

Preferred: CASAC Certification preferred. EAP and chemical dependency experience preferred.

Special Skills/Equipment: Demonstrates thorough assessment skills and data collection. Demonstrates ability to construct treatment plans addressing presenting problems that utilize theory-based interventions. Demonstrates accurate documentation of assessments, intervention, outcome and follow-up.
