Responsibilities:

• Lead Quality Department operations, including hiring, training, and staff development
• Provide organization-wide education to improve compliance and quality standards
• Coordinate communication across committees driving quality initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements; communicate updates to leadership
• Partner with leadership to implement quality improvement and performance initiatives
• Conduct mock surveys and support patient safety and care quality efforts
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to track performance and outcomes
• Manage responses to external agencies, complaints, and reporting requirements
• Support on-site surveys, investigations, and root cause analyses
• Analyze trends and share insights to drive continuous improvement

Required Experience:

• Licensed clinical background (RN or MD) preferred
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting
• Minimum 5 years in organizational clinical quality improvement and patient safety within a hospital or healthcare environment
• At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager
• Knowledge of quality and process improvement methodologies, including IHC, IHI, and Lean Systems management
• Proven track record of building collaborative relationships with physicians, clinical and administrative leadership, vendors, external agencies, and internal stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to analyze and present data to influence behavior, promote best practices, and drive organizational change
• Results-oriented, able to function autonomously, lead through others, and perform effectively in a complex, matrixed, team-driven environment
• Leadership style that is clinically credible, grounded in integrity, collaboration, influence, conviction, and innovation
• Authorized to work legally in the United States
