The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be comfortable preparing estimates, performing equipment and material takeoffs, and supporting project coordination efforts. Responsibilities include conducting site visits as needed to verify existing conditions and take field measurements, assisting with ordering HVAC equipment and materials, and coordinating material staging with the warehouse team to ensure projects are installation ready. This position also supports project handoff to installation teams and requires ongoing communication with vendors, project managers, and field personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare estimates for small HVAC projects, including split systems and RTU replacements
- Perform equipment and material takeoffs
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, OSHA standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate material staging and job readiness with the warehouse team.
- Support project handoff to installation teams
- Communicate with vendors, project managers, and field personnel
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and navigate uneven surfaces in a construction or job-site environment
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems or construction processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple small projects
- HVAC field experience or estimating experience preferred
- Vocational or technical training a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, warehouse staff and field personnel
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple small projects and shifting priorities
- High level of attention to detail to ensure accurate estimates, takeoffs and job readiness
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and independent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to life up to 75 pounds as needed
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and type throughout the workday
- $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, competitive hourly wage, based on experience
