Position Summary
-
Provides professional support to assigned teams within the Human Resources function including benefits, employee relations, HRIS, recruitment, and workforce development. May serve as a dedicated resource to a single function or hold a variety of responsibilities across multiple functions. Answers employee questions and explains policies and procedures to employees and leaders. Provides guidance related to basic human resources operations such as employment paperwork, personnel changes, and program management. Processes employee information, compiles data, and prepares reports to support their assigned function. Collaborates with other Specialists on routine tasks and special assignments including rotating front desk coverage and duties to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

Work Experience
- Previous human resources, healthcare, or administrative support experience preferred.

Education- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree and 2 years of related work experience required.

Certifications/Licensure- Professional human resources certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.

- Provides professional support to assigned function(s) and work assignments. Organizes and performs day-to-day operational and administrative support duties to ensure efficient operations within the function.
- Provides guidance related to basic human resources operations such as employment paperwork, personnel changes, and program management. Utilizes the employee handbook and policy library to answer routine questions from employees and provide basic guidance.
- Processes employee information, compiles data, and prepares routine and ad hoc reports. Performs routine audits to ensure data integrity and completion.
- Assists in planning, organizing, and developing procedures and special projects. May participate in new vendor or program implementations as part of a larger team of human resources or Med Center Health professionals.
- Collaborates with other Specialists on routine tasks and special assignments including rotating front desk coverage and duties to ensure efficient operations and an excellent employee experience.
