Registered Nurse - PNS Administration at Conway Medical Center – Conway, South Carolina

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse-PNS (RN) will be responsible for the care and treatment of patients in a medical office setting as directed by a physician. The RN will ensure that quality care is provided to all patients and is responsible for maintaining confidential records of vital statistics and other pertinent data. The RN will notify patients of diagnostic test results, ensure that clients receive appropriate follow-up care, and educates patients to assure understanding of physicians orders effectively. The RN will perform duties including but not limited to; Rooming patients in a timely manner, recording nursing notes, vital signs, weight, etc., and coordinating care within the office team.

Qualifications

Education:

• Associates degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years’ current experience in nursing practice required.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record System preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Current RN licensure in the state of South Carolina required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with nursing colleagues, physicians, and department heads required.
