Medical Assistant II at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Nationally Certified Medical Assistant and CPR are required for this position. Work Kare offers a full range of occupational medicine services with 4 locations in the Shreveport/Bossier area. Work Kare's Occupational Health Services comprise the most comprehensive grouping of programs and services available to employers in our area. Responsibilities for the Medical Assistant position include, but not limited to, performing drug screening, breath alcohol testing, audio testing, pulmonary function, Department of Transportation physicals, basic physicals and minor work injury treatments, etc. The candidate should expect a two-week orientation period with a dedicated preceptor. This is a high volume clinic requiring the candidate for this position to be highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
