Why This Role Matters
The PM Technician is responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and cooking equipment. This role focuses on equipment reliability, early issue detection, and delivering a high-quality customer experience at every touchpoint.
This position plays a critical role in reducing emergency breakdowns, identifying repair opportunities, and supporting long-term customer relationships.
What You’ll Do
- Perform scheduled PM services on HVAC systems (RTUs, split systems, exhaust/makeup air), Refrigeration equipment (walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines), Cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, grills, steamers, etc.)
- Follow company PM checklists and procedures consistently
- Inspect, clean, adjust, and test equipment for proper operation
- Identify worn or failing components before breakdown occurs
- Document deficiencies clearly with supporting notes/photos
- Complete accurate service reports in real time
- Capture opportunities for repair quotes or system upgrades
- Represent the company professionally on-site
- Follow all safety policies and procedures

Must-Haves
- 1+ year of education and/or hands-on experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Commercial Food Service Equipment
- 2+ years of customer service experience with strong communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- EPA Universal Certification
Nice-to-haves
- CFESA or OEM certifications
