Journeyman/Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician at Sunstate Mechanical Services

Shift: Monday Friday.Hours may vary between 5am-4pm (Some rotation of on call shifts, nights and weekends)

Hourly Rate:$35-$50(DOE)

Location: Office Location is2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282.This job does require travelling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job)

Requirements:

• Youmustbe 18 years old.
• Youmustbe eligible to work in the U.S
• Youmustbe able to pass a drug test.
• Youmustbe able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
• For safety reasons, youmustbe able to speak English.
• Youmusthave your own tool kit.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• 5+ years of experienced preferred

Job Duties:

As you might expect, HVAC Service is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, youll be:

• Preventative maintenance andtroubleshooting for rooftop units, Humidifiers, packaged Air Conditioners, Refrigerated Air Dryers, and control systems.
• Working with Chillers, Cooling Towers, Hot Water/Steam Boilers, Condensers/Chilled Water Pumps and Exhaust Fans regularly.
• Variable Frequency Drives, Computer Room AC Equipment, Air Handling/Fan Coil Units and Air Compressors will also be a big part of your workload.
• Installing commercial units
• Responsible for teaching apprentices
• Additional duties as required
