Overview: We are looking for a full-time, experienced Commercial Maintenance Technician/Handyman who can provide maintenance and repair all aspects of commercial buildings in the East and West Valley.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Must own basic hand and power tools, and possess the ability to utilize them safely in performing daily duties. Perform a variety of basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, drywall repair and painting, flooring/ceiling, and general maintenance functions. Proactively Detect faulty or defective items within Ironwood facilities and repair or report appropriately. Rotate throughout 9 Ironwood facilities weekly to perform routine maintenance. Maintain relationships with outside vendors for bigger issues.Thorough knowledge of and operate within OSHA standards at all times. Must be able to work indoors, outdoors and climb stairs throughout course of day. Must have reliable transportation. (preferably a pickup)Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly facilities. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Knowledge and Skills:

Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Ability to lift or move items over 75 pounds, including lifting 10 pounds overhead. Ability to safely use ladders and provided tools and equipment. Basic computer skills for regular business functions. Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times. Must be responsive, courteous and efficient in handling of all requests. Responsible for thorough knowledge of company policy and procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years working in commercial facilities maintenance. High school diploma or equivalent, some college a plus.Valid driver's license and proof of personal auto insurance.Must be willing to travel between all East and West Valley office locations.
