The Pulmonology/CPAP Clinic Coordinator works closely with the Manager of Pulmonology to develop, coordinate and maintain efficient processes for the Pulmonology/CPAP Clinic. The coordinator will aggregate patient care information through multiple tech portals to establish an appropriate plan of care. The Pulmonology/CPAP Clinic Coordinator will review all durable medical equipment (DME) approvals and denials to ensure patient has the most appropriate equipment for treatment. The coordinator acts as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient service delivery. They work closely with medical staff and other departments to optimize workflow and enhance patient outcomes. They will maintain good rapport and cooperative relationships, approach conflict in a constructive manner, help to identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution. The coordinator will also be a resource for the medical assistants in the office. The Coordinator will maintain the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patient, physicians, associates, and visitors to Major Health Partners. The coordinator must be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, be able to teach and lead others, as well as be the face of professionlism and decorum in the office.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Professional & Technical Skills
-
DME experience preferred. Strong organizational skills, office procedures, communication skills, and attention to detail is required. Must have analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures, equipment, and therapies, including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and oxygen therapy.
Be able to work in a fast paced, high volume medical office. Must be able to multi-task and be accesible to all staff at anytime.

Education

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Miniumum of Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy required. Bachelors degree preferred.

Indiana State Licensure

Other Skills or Requirements

Must be able to communicate professionally. Must be able to maintain a high degree of accountability and be able to keep information confidential.
