About This Position

Job Purpose

The Facilities & Fleet Support Technician is responsible for the overall organization of the central shop, fleet readiness, and logistical support to the Property Management and Maintenance team. This role ensures that materials are accurately inventoried, the facility is maintained, and field teams are supported through deliveries and light technical repairs as time permits.

Core Responsibilities

  • Shop & Inventory Management
  • Manage regular stock counts and audit inventory levels to ensure accuracy across warehouse stock and technician vans.
  • Take full ownership of the shop and warehouse layout; ensure all supplies are put away in their designated spots and the facility is kept clean, organized, and safe.
  • Pull, stage, and replenish materials for maintenance teams and process incoming shipments.
  • Assist in checking tools in and out and ensuring that shared equipment is cleaned and maintained after use.
  • Monitor "low-stock" levels for common hardware and consumables, reviewing and updating orders weekly.

Fleet Maintenance & Logistics

  • Perform light maintenance and service of company vehicles and equipment, including fluid checks, tool organization, report on general cleanliness, and perform basic repairs.
  • Operate company vehicles to deliver parts, appliances, and staged orders to job sites as needed.

Field & Facility Support

  • Assist with minor repairs and projects as time permits, including painting, lock changes, install signage, or provide quality control (QC) inspections.
  • Execute seasonal maintenance including lawn mowing, snow shoveling, and general debris removal.
  • Manage the disposal of site debris, including breaking down cardboard, organizing scrap metal for recycling, and maintaining the dumpster area for cleanliness

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • License: Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Technical Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance and proficiency with inventory control systems.
  • Professionalism: Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills.
