Bmore Technology is looking for a Technology Alignment Manager to lead our Technology Alignment practice in White Marsh — a proactive, client-facing role for someone who loves getting out to client sites, knowing their environments inside and out, spotting risks early, and being the trusted advisor clients are glad to see walk through the door. Who We AreFounded in 2004, Bmore Technology is a managed IT services provider supporting businesses across the Baltimore region and the Myrtle Beach and Charleston areas of South Carolina. Our mission is simple: help businesses be more, with technology that solves problems and makes an impact. We’ve built our culture on learning, ambition, vision, and integrity — we invest in each other, and we’re invested in our clients.
We want the best of the best — people who come here to learn, grow, and expand their careers. And if that growth one day leads you to something even better for you and your family, we’ll be the first to cheer you on.
What You’ll Do-Get out in the field — visit client sites across the Baltimore region for regular, proactive alignment reviews-Be the expert everyone asks — know your clients’ environments better than anyone, and be the person our service and project teams come to for answers
-Stop problems early — review ticket trends, identify technical risks, and drive reactive tickets down
-Be the trusted advisor — build real relationships with clients and explain what you find in plain language
-Set the standard — help build our Standards Library and bring every client environment into alignment with it
-Partner with our vCIO — work side by side on each client’s technology roadmap, flag where they’re out of alignment, and help decide what gets fixed first
-Share the on-call rotation for after-hours support
Pay & Benefits-Salary of $60,000 – $75,000 per year, based on experience, formal education, and certifications
-Medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees, plus telemedicine access and a Health Savings Account option
-Company vehicle provided for client-site visits — no wear and tear on your own car
-Work from home while you’re the on-call technician — home base is our White Marsh office, with regular travel to client sites
-401(k) retirement plan with company matching
-Quarterly bonuses based on company profitability, plus additional end-of-year bonus opportunities
-Paid time off and paid holidays
-Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required
-Previous MSP or IT consulting experience — you’ll support many different clients with very different environments, and thriving in that variety is a skill of its own
-A bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or 3+ years of hands-on IT experience — plus multiple technical certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, networking, or security)
-You’ve been the tech — you’ve worked the tickets, handled the escalations your team sent your way, and sat across from clients explaining what happened and what’s next
-Genuine comfort talking with clients — you can build trust, explain what you found, and get buy-in on what to fix
-A proactive mindset — you’d rather prevent the outage than get the 2 a.m. call about it
-Organization, attention to detail, and the self-motivation to run your own schedule of client visits
-A valid driver’s license — you’ll be out at client sites across the Baltimore region regularly (we provide the company car)
