Midtown OBGYN is a patient-focused healthcare practice committed to excellent care and clear communication. We’re looking for an Insurance Verification & Patient Benefits Coordinator to join our team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments.
  • Contact insurance companies to confirm coverage and resolve issues.
  • Calculate and share cost estimates with patients for upcoming visits or procedures.
  • Clearly explain insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs to patients.
  • Document all communications in the EMR and work with staff to ensure accurate information.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in insurance verification, billing, or patient financial services preferred.
  • Knowledge of deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable using EMR systems.
  • High school diploma required; medical office training preferred.
