  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Supports the delivery of high-quality diagnostic testing. Working under direct supervision, the intern performs comprehensive sleep testing and analysis, associated interventions, and adherence to AASM and Center of Excellence standards. This role is designed to build foundational skills and prepare the intern for advanced training as a sleep technologist.

  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • High school Diploma
      • Graduation from, or current enrollment in, a formal sleep technology program with the didactic coursework completed and clinical hours pending.
      • Completion of the AASM A-STEP program.

    • Minimum Experience
      • Foundational knowledge of sleep disorders, PAP therapy, and AASM standards

    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • BLS within 90 days

    • Preferred Education
      • N/A

    • Preferred Experience
      • Clinical exposure in a sleep laboratory setting through A-STEP or related training.
      • Experience interacting with patients in a healthcare setting and demonstrating strong attention to detail and technical aptitude.

    • Preferred Registration/License/Certification
      • BLS

    • Other Requirements
      • N/A
