This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, FSP 360 (Sponsor dedicated) based in Brazil.
This role is a strategic leadership position within a global clinical research environment, focused on ensuring high-quality delivery of functional service provider (FSP) operations for a key sponsor. You will act as the primary interface between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on service delivery, performance, and compliance across assigned multifunctional teams. The position combines people leadership, operational oversight, and customer engagement within a fast-paced, highly regulated industry. You will be responsible for driving team performance, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring adherence to global clinical research standards such as ICH-GCP. This is a highly visible role where your decisions directly influence service quality, talent development, and operational success. It offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of science, operations, and client partnership in a global setting.
- Lead and oversee multifunctional FSP teams, ensuring strong performance delivery aligned with customer expectations, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
- Act as the primary operational liaison with sponsor stakeholders, building trusted relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor team performance and daily operations, implementing mitigation and remediation plans when required to address delivery or compliance gaps.
- Ensure adherence to ICH-GCP guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements across all assigned activities and team outputs.
- Drive resource planning and allocation, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and resolving resourcing conflicts in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead performance management activities including goal setting, evaluations, coaching, and development planning for direct reports.
- Support business growth through talent management, participation in account meetings, and contribution to operational forecasting and planning.
- Promote continuous improvement by gathering customer feedback, sharing best practices, and enhancing service delivery processes.
- Provide administrative and operational oversight, including HR processes, time tracking, training compliance, and system updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field, or equivalent clinical research experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment.
- Extensive experience in clinical research, including prior exposure to leadership or team management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and other applicable global regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills with experience driving performance and engagement in teams.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Understanding of basic financial concepts such as forecasting and budgeting is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to influence, present, and build trust across stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
