Title: West Side Youth Summer VBS Intern
When: July 5 - July 10
Pay: $21/hr
Hours:
- Sunday: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- Mon-Thurs: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Friday: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Description: The West Side Youth Summer VBS Internship is a limited position designed to be a first step into ministry and an investment into the next generation of West Side Youth. The West Side Youth Summer VBS Intern will work under the direction and mentorship of our Senior Youth Ministry Manager, Austin and help coordinate and pour into the Middle School Work Crew during the week of Vacation Bible School. The intern will help lead daily devotionals, facilitate team-building activities, and assist in two-on-one check-ins with the Middle Schoolers. This week will allow interns to discover ministry giftings and gain insight into putting on ministry programming.
Requirements: The West Side Youth Summer VBS Intern must be
- A Spring 2026 High School Graduate
- An active member of West Side Youth
- An active member of a Redeemer church and community
- A follower of Jesus and a believer of the Gospel
- A self-starter, consistently looking for opportunities to further the program
- Relational, investing in the Middle Schoolers and their walks with Jesus
- Communicative, reliable, and be willing to do all things with excellence, regardless of the size of task.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set; experience and training; licensure, certifications, and ordination; and other organizational needs.
