Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Shipping lead, the assembler will gather all needed materials, parts, and hand tools and construct custom pallets, crates and boxes.

Primary responsibilities:

• Verify all inbound and outbound shipments matches documentation
• Maintain precise and accurate documentation of existing inventory and shipped goods
• Provide tracking information to all appropriate parties.
• Manage missing freight or damaged product issues
• Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment
• Input notes and information in NetSuite throughout the order process
• Other duties as required

Abilities, Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Basic ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Strong mechanical aptitude with prior manufacturing experience
• Experience with various power and hand tools
• Should have the ability to accurately read and use various measuring devices
• Computer skills; work well with Word, Excel, Outlook, and NetSuite
• Identify areas for improvement, particularly regarding workplace efficiency
• Ability to read prints is helpful
