Job Description

Description:

Mindcolor Autism, named one of Glassdoor’s Top 50 Places to Work in 2025, is seeking a Physician Liaison to join our team. The Physician Liaison supports Mindcolor’s growth by serving as the "face" of the organization in the community. This role focuses on executing the boots-on-the-ground outreach strategy directed by the Director of Growth and Partnerships.

Mindcolor, founded in 2019, is a mission driven ABA organization built on four core principles: client centric care, best in class teams, a culture of excellence, and tireless advocacy. We prioritize quality over quantity, strong ethics, transparency, and clinician voice at every level.

Responsibilities

Market Outreach & Relationship Management

Conduct a minimum of 100 in-person meetings per month with potential referral sources, including pediatricians, diagnosticians, schools, OT/Speech providers, hospitals, employers, and community organizations.

Conduct regular "drops" to distribute branded marketing materials and leave a positive, lasting impression of Mindcolor’s mission.

Identify and qualify new referral opportunities, acting as the first point of contact for potential community partners.

Assist in hosting and attending community marketing events to build brand awareness.

Maintain consistent contact with prospective sources to provide updates on center progress and intake availability.

Data &Reporting

  • Maintain a comprehensive and accurate list of referral sources and outreach activities using Google Sheets or CRM software.
  • Provide regular updates to the Director of Growth and Partnerships on meeting quotas, lead quality, and community feedback.

Operational & Clinical Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure all materials and messaging align with Mindcolor’s scope of services and values.
  • Foster relationships with other disciplines (OT, Speech) to facilitate holistic care for prospective clients.
  • Assist Center Directors in existing regions with localized community

Required Competencies & Demonstrated Skills:

  • High Energy & Drive: Self-motivated to spend the majority of the day "in the field" visiting partners.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills across all formats.
  • Organization: Strong time management skills to balance a high volume of meetings and follow-ups.
  • Relationship Building: Passion for networking and telling the Mindcolor story to generate leads.
  • Resilience & Persistence: Tenacious mentality to creatively overcome barriers and engage partners.
  • Reliability: Dependable, professional, and able to meet strict outreach deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Location: Remote-based, some in-person activity. Must be based in Wisconsin.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in healthcare sales, community outreach, or physician liaison roles (ABA experience is a plus).
  • Full-time: Approximately 40 hours per week. Mostly Monday through Friday, but occasionally weekend availability is needed (e.g., planning for / attending an event)
  • Travel: Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Wisconsin and other states where Mindcolor has a presence as needed. You will spend most of your time “on the road” visiting physician offices. Approximately 2/3 of time will be spent traveling within Wisconsin, and 1/3 traveling to other states
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation required for daily "drops" and meetings.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, and engage in frequent movement to respond quickly in various scenarios.
  • Ability to process complex information and act in a professional manner at all times.
