This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Consultant, Organizational Design based in United States.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact organizational design and research initiative for a complex, large-scale enterprise environment.
You will conduct hands-on research, engage stakeholders, and gather insights across multiple organizational levels and locations.
Your work will help identify organizational opportunities, employee experience improvements, and areas for greater effectiveness.
You will translate qualitative and quantitative findings into practical recommendations, business impact analyses, and implementation roadmaps.
The position combines strategic consulting with direct field engagement, executive communication, and analytical problem-solving.
After an initial onboarding period, the role includes travel to dispersed U.S. client locations followed by a remote phase focused on recommendations and executive readouts.
This is a six-month consulting engagement with potential for extension and significant exposure to senior leadership and organizational transformation initiatives.
- Design and execute comprehensive internal and external research studies to support organizational design, effectiveness, and optimization strategies.
- Develop and apply research methodologies including focus groups, stakeholder interviews, surveys, benchmarking, market research, and other qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Conduct hands-on research and facilitate discussions with stakeholders across different organizational levels, functions, and local markets.
- Travel to dispersed U.S. client locations to collect employee feedback, conduct focus groups, and gather insights during the research phase.
- Analyze and synthesize research findings to identify organizational trends, gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop ROI and business impact analyses to assess the potential value and implications of organizational changes.
- Translate complex research findings into clear, actionable organizational design and organizational development recommendations.
- Develop strategic roadmaps connecting research insights and recommendations to practical implementation plans.
- Create polished, executive-ready presentations, reports, analyses, and supporting documentation.
- Present findings, recommendations, and executive readouts to stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership.
- Partner with client stakeholders to ensure research findings and recommendations are aligned with broader business objectives and organizational strategy.
- Support the transition from organizational strategy and design into potential implementation activities during subsequent phases of the engagement.
- Independently manage multiple workstreams while maintaining high standards for quality, communication, and delivery.
- Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex organizations, preferably Fortune 100 enterprises, through organizational research, organizational design, organizational effectiveness, strategy, transformation, or related consulting engagements.
- Hands-on experience designing and conducting internal and external research studies.
- Strong experience facilitating focus groups, stakeholder interviews, organizational assessments, benchmarking exercises, and research-driven strategy initiatives.
- Proven ability to take consulting engagements from research and analysis through recommendations, strategic roadmaps, and implementation planning.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex qualitative and quantitative findings into practical business recommendations.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including experience evaluating research findings and developing ROI or business impact analyses.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive-level communication skills.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to produce polished, data-driven executive presentations and analyses.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels and confidently present recommendations to senior and executive leadership.
- Strong project and workstream management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfer.
- This opportunity is not available for C2C arrangements.
- Annualized compensation range of approximately $100,000–$135,000, depending on experience, education, geographic location, certifications, skills, and other qualifications.
