Job Description
Position Summary
The Material Coordinator is responsible for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and shipping. This role ensures accurate handling of materials, proper inventory control, and timely fulfillment of orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving
- Receive all shipments within 24 hours of delivery and verify expected arrivals.
- Process shipments in VeraCore (inventory management system) and assign storage locations.
- Print placards/labels for each receipt.
- Accurately store all received materials.
- Unload and sign for incoming deliveries.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Maintain accurate inventory through proper staging and picking.
- Pull and stage items using first-in, first-out (FIFO) methodology.
- Move and merge inventory physically and within VeraCore.
- Assist with cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate inventory movement with the Fulfillment Lead.
Shipping
- Process shipments via USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
- Prepare and coordinate freight shipments.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with order picking and packing.
- Support pack-out operations.
- Maintain organized warehouse aisles.
- Manage disposal and recycling of warehouse materials.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience
- Mechanical aptitude

- Forklift
- Order picker (wave)
- Manual and powered pallet jacks
- Manual dock plate

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Standing: ~50% | Walking: ~45% | Sitting: ~5%
- Frequent bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs (occasionally up to 75 lbs)
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts; occasional weekends may be required
- Closed-toe footwear required
Compensation
- Pay Range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
- Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
