Position Summary
As a Line Cook at Moneygun, you’ll play an essential role in executing high-quality, consistent dishes while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen. You’ll work closely with the restaurant team, Central Kitchen, and management to ensure seamless communication and operations.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a communication bridge between the kitchen, restaurant team, and Central Kitchen
- Participate in preparing, cooking, and plating food to meet quality and consistency standards
- Maintain strong working rapport with FOH/BOH staff for smooth service
- Ensure daily checks of line, cooler, and dry storage to maintain rotation and freshness
- Monitor production flow and quality, making improvements where needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Follow opening and closing procedures as directed
- Track and order inventory of prepped items from the Central Kitchen with appropriate lead time
- Maintain equipment and kitchen cleanliness in accordance with state health regulations
About You:
- Minimum 1 year of cooking experience with strong knife skills and an understanding of techniques, recipes, and terminology
- Valid Food Handler Certification required
- Ability to follow procedures and execute dishes with accuracy and consistency
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently bend, reach, lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and common allergens.
Position Details & Benefits
- Job Type: Full-time, Hourly
- Compensation: $20 per hour
