Job Description

Manager, Business Intelligence

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Business Intelligence in Canada.

This role is a key leadership opportunity within a fast-growing, remote-first environment focused on transforming how data drives Go-to-Market decisions. You will lead the evolution of a centralized business intelligence function supporting Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and executive stakeholders. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on analytical depth, ensuring data is translated into trusted, actionable insights that shape business performance. You will be responsible for building scalable reporting systems, defining core business KPIs, and improving analytics maturity across the organization. Acting as both a people leader and analytics strategist, you will help transition the company from reactive reporting to proactive, decision-oriented intelligence. This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about data governance, operational excellence, and modern BI practices in a SaaS environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and scale a centralized Go-to-Market business intelligence function supporting Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and executive leadership.
  • Define, govern, and standardize core business KPIs across pipeline, revenue, retention, expansion, customer health, and operational performance.
  • Develop scalable analytics operating models that reduce ad hoc reporting and enable self-service insights across the organization.
  • Lead the strategy, design, and evolution of executive dashboards and BI reporting tools, ensuring actionable and decision-ready outputs.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate business needs into analytical solutions that drive performance and growth.
  • Establish and enforce data governance, metric standardization, and semantic layer practices to ensure consistency and trust in reporting.
  • Support forecasting, pipeline analysis, and revenue intelligence initiatives through robust analytical frameworks.
  • Mentor and develop analytics talent while promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement AI-enabled analytics and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, revenue operations, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management and leading analytics teams or initiatives.
  • Strong experience supporting Go-to-Market functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or Revenue Operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, semantic layers, and modern data warehouse concepts.
  • Proven ability to design scalable reporting frameworks and analytics operating models in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to simplify complex insights.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous business questions into analytical outputs.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and market benchmarks
  • Equity opportunities as part of the total rewards package
  • Remote-first work environment with flexible work arrangements in Canada
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage from day one
  • Paid time off, parental leave, and wellness support programs
  • Access to professional development and learning opportunities
  • Home office support including equipment and remote work allowances
  • Collaborative, high-growth SaaS environment with strong emphasis on ownership and impact
