This is an opportunity for an experienced Workday integration professional to join a collaborative consulting environment focused on delivering high-impact enterprise solutions.
You will design, develop, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations that connect Workday with internal platforms and third-party systems.
The role combines hands-on technical delivery with client-facing consulting and problem-solving.
You will contribute across the integration lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and optimization.
Working alongside technical teams, clients, and external vendors, you will help streamline processes and improve data exchange.
The position offers exposure to complex transformation initiatives and opportunities to contribute to innovative delivery practices.
This is a remote, full-time role with limited travel and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Lead the design, development, and testing of Workday integrations using technologies such as Workday Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, and core connectors.
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain existing integrations for customers using Workday solutions.
- Gather and translate business and technical requirements into effective integration designs and implementation approaches.
- Prepare requirements documentation, technical specifications, and design deliverables.
- Develop reliable, scalable, and high-quality integration solutions that enable automated data exchange between Workday, enterprise applications, and third-party platforms.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to complete integration activities and resolve technical dependencies.
- Communicate technical challenges, risks, and solutions clearly to both client and internal teams.
- Participate actively in assigned projects, helping streamline client processes and improve delivery outcomes.
- Contribute to a collaborative and innovative environment by identifying opportunities to improve methodologies, tools, processes, and reusable assets.
- Apply a consultative approach throughout engagements while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in ERP integration development and modern integration technologies; alternatively, a master’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Candidates without a degree may qualify with approximately 7 years of relevant ERP integration development experience.
- Current Workday certification in an area such as Workday Integrations, Workday Studio, or Workday Orchestrate is required.
- At least 3 years of experience developing integrations using technologies such as EDI, web services, XML, XSLT, Java, .NET, middleware, or comparable technologies.
- Strong understanding of integration development principles and enterprise application environments.
- Ability to work effectively within structured project methodologies and manage deliverables across multiple project phases.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to business and client audiences.
- Comfortable delivering client demonstrations, presentations, and technical recommendations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
- Experience supporting state or local government implementations is a plus.
- Experience working within HR or Finance environments and understanding related organizational challenges is advantageous.
- Ability to work remotely with limited local and non-local travel, generally up to 25%, including occasional on-site support for key project milestones.
- Annual salary range of $102,000–$170,000, with compensation determined by factors such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and business needs.
