Peak Enterprises has an immediate opening for a Real Estate Analyst to join the acquisitions team of our Real Estate Private Equity division. The main function of this position will be assisting the underwriting and development team in evaluating commercial housing (Apartments, Manufactured Housing Communities, and Built To Rent Single Family Communities) acquisitions and development projects.

We assist in valuation, due diligence, credit assessment, accounting, investment policy development, and portfolio strategy. Our team consists of credit, accounting, mortgage, banking and technology professionals with global banking, credit, and executive management experience.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work on a team analyzing all aspects of complex real estate transactions, including performance and credit data, deal structure, legal documents, and cash flow analysis.
Analyze financial statements and develop property level cash flow proforma valuations for acquisitions and potential developments
Conduct detailed economic and demographic research on various housing markets and sub-markets across the country
Assist underwriting team in preparing materials for capital partners
Order and perform the preliminary review of all third party reports (appraisal, inspection and environmental)
Conduct inspections of physical real-estate assets
Conduct detailed economic and demographic research to determine feasibility of transactions
Perform sub-market and market research to determine various factors impacting property level performance
Review and interpret legal documents, such as loan agreements, guarantees, and promissory notes
On occasion, individual may be required to undertake additional or other duties according to the needs of the business.
Qualifications
Candidate should have:
Minimum of 2 years of commercial real estate analysis and/or underwriting experience.
Knowledge and understanding of Discounted Cash Flow analysis.
Knowledge and understanding of income-producing properties and commercial real estate markets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, Power Point and Word is a requirement.
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or a related discipline and have a familiarity with the terms and concepts of real estate finance.
The ability to manage multiple projects and work closely with others as well as independently to produce accurate, detailed work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is a must.
Some travel will be required.
