Description: Job Overview Summary

The Security Service Technician I will be responsible for servicing and maintaining security systems, including alarms, cameras, and access control systems. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in security technology who are looking to grow their expertise in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll be doing (and doing well!):
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on security systems, including alarms, cameras, and access control systems.
  • Respond to service calls and address client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to clients’ security operations.
  • Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on service status and offer guidance on system use.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures during all service activities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What we Like about you:
  • A Sense of humor, creativity, and positive attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electronics or a related field is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in servicing security systems or a similar technical role.
  • Basic understanding of security system components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific security system brands or technologies is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, PSA) are a plus.
Physical Activities/Demands:
  • Able to safely work at heights on ladders and aerial lifts
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.
