The Manager Regulatory Compliance directs and coordinates regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness activities to ensure continuous adherence to applicable federal, state, and accreditation requirements across the organization. The role serves as the operational lead for regulatory readiness infrastructure, survey coordination, and regulatory response management. Working in partnership with system regulatory leadership and operational departments, the Manager Regulatory Compliance ensures that organizational practices, documentation, and operational processes remain aligned with regulatory and accreditation standards established by oversight agencies including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), The Joint Commission, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and other applicable accrediting bodies. The Manager develops and oversees regulatory readiness activities including tracers, survey preparation processes, documentation validation, and regulatory education to maintain readiness for announced and unannounced surveys. The role coordinates regulatory response plans following surveys, complaint investigations, and regulatory inquiries while providing regulatory oversight for specialized programs, including inpatient rehabilitation services and other regulated care environments.
